Finally the long awaited day had come for Tim and Gwen. He had never felt so happy in his life as he did that day when he saw Gwen walk down the aisle to him. He often wondered how he could be so lucky as to find a girl as wonderful as Gwen. He could tell that when they walked down the street together arm in arm that the rest of the world thought that as well, but it didn’t bother him at all. All that mattered was that she was happy and he was the one making her happy.

They had waited quite a few months before marrying as Tim wanted everything to be ready for them to start their new life. He had chosen to pursue music over art so as to be able to keep the integrity of his work intact. He didn’t want someone else deciding what he should paint. Music seemed like a great choice as he had just as much musical talent as artistic abilities. When Gwen had agreed with this idea he knew it was the way he should go.

The day was wonderful, the weather was perfect, and for Gwen life was the best it could possibly be. Everyone was there and in good spirits. Anthony and Monica were somewhat sidetracked about the news of a little one on the way, but they tried very hard to remain focused on Tim and Gwens big day. They had discussed their situation in great length but Anthony still had not made peace with it. They also didn’t feel it was time to share it with the rest of the family.

Tim could see that Anthony had something else on his mind, so he didn’t care that Anthony was rather stiff when it came to affection, he grabbed him and gave him the biggest hug one could give. This was amusing to Erin, and Monica since they knew how uncomfortable Anthony was at the moment. He went along with it for the sake of the wedding but any other day Anthony may have wrestled Tim to the ground for causing such a spectacle.

After the ceremony it was time to celebrate. Everyone was dancing (even Anthony) and Tim was the DJ. Even his dad Jack showed his fun side and joined along with everyone. He was a little stiff but he didn’t care. Jack was feeling a great sense of accomplishment knowing that all three of his children were happily married, and being a family sim this was a big deal.

The entire family posed for pictures as well. From the left: Gwen staring at her man, Marisa (Mom) wondering what Gwen is staring at, Tim trying not to blink for the picture, Jack (Dad) still stiff from all the dancing, Monica loooking surprised for some reason, Erin smiling big and slightly embarrassed that her husband Lee had shown up late and underdressed, Anthony looking dapper in his tux, and Lee again very underdressed.

The time had come for them to leave for their honeymoon. Tim had made the arrangements himself as a surprise for Gwen and he knew she would love what he had planned. They didn’t yet have much money, only the little Tim had saved when he sold a number of his paintings to an art gallery in Bluewater Village. This money enabled them to put a downpayment on a small home in Cascade Valley just a few miles from Erin and Lee, buy the car of Tim’s dreams, and for the mystery honeymoon Tim had arranged.

Much to her delight, Gwen found herself in front of a rustic cabin in the woods after traveling for a few hours completely mystified as to where they were going. They both loved the outdoors so this made perfect sense to Tim. A remote cabin in a beautiful forest, just the two of them and nature. Gwen and Tim were in heaven.
