Anthony, double trouble

Days turned into months and Anthony and Monica found themselves close to having their baby. Anthony had come to his senses about the baby realizing that it would be a blessing rather than an inconvenience. He came to this conclusion after having a long talk with his father whom Monica called for advice as to what to do with her brooding husband. Anthony was still worried but tried to be as supportive as he could to Monica. She had been thrilled since the moment she found out. This gave her life some purpose and even though she was disapointed about not being able to work as an actress she knew this would be the most important job she would ever have.

The day Monica went into labor Anthony happened to be home. She felt the pains and then Anthony started to panic. 

Being a talented actress, Monica took the birth to a whole new dramatic level. Even Anthony joined in and began his very own labor.

He practiced his breathing…and his face turned a very pale shade of white.

And while pushing through the labor pains, Anthony had to stop to retrieve something from his eye.

 

Then it happened, Monica brought forth a human life after all of Anthony’s hard work.

 Then another…

Monica had given birth to twins, a baby boy they named Joseph and a baby girl named Abbey. Anthony was so proud and couldn’t believe he could have ever thought this could be anything but wonderful. He had a son who would carry on the Davis name and a daughter who he could spoil and protect. His sister Erin had recently had a baby girl so having a boy in the family was delightful.  His brother Tim and Gwen had decided to wait for children, so this was a wonderful gift to their Dad, Jack Davis, who couldn’t wait to be a grandfather (family sim).

 

The first few weeks of their lives, Anthony kept remembering his childhood and how his father was so involved. Anthony vowed that he would do the same and be a wonderful dad. The euphoria of being a new father was in full swing and Anthony was loving every minute. 

Monica was pleased as well. She had had her doubts about Anthony and his parental abilities, so this was a surprise to see him so doting and affectionate with the babies. He even took some time off from work to help Monica through the first few days which was very unlike him. Monica often felt in the past that Anthony’s work was his first priority, now she was seeing a different man, a man who was putting his family first, although Anthony may have seen it differently. Anthony felt that dedicating himself to his work was putting his family first so they they would live comfortably and Monica would be free to stay home with their children if she chose to. The male and female perspective varies greatly even in the sim world.

Then came the day the twins turned into toddlers, the day we had all been waiting for.

 

 Joseph’s time had come and it seemed that even though the boy had darker hair this was an exact replica of Anthony as a toddler. It had happened, to the delight of us all, the ugly gene had carried through to the third generation.

(Anthony as a toddler, the resemblence is incredible isn’t it?)

 

Abbey, oooohhh. It’s bad isn’t it. Poor Monica had no idea.

 

Maybe if we fix her hair she’ll look better, but probably not.

 

Once again, unsuspecting parents with no idea that their children are hideous.
