After some time had past, Anthony was really enjoying his position as chef and manager of Ye Olde Tea Shoppe. He had more time to spend with his family and even some spare time for himself to enjoy his hobbies. His marriage was on the mend and he was feeling like Monica might be feeling better as well. He never realized before they were married what an incredibly moody and easily depressed person she could be.

In the previous chapter “Erin and the crazed nanny”, Lee was pondering the decision of whether to tell Erin about the romantic advances put upon him by Laci, the delusional live in nanny. He wondered whether she could be dangerous or whether it was just a harmless crush. He thought Erin might even laugh at him, or worse yet she may think that he may have initiated it. He felt he had been firm enough with her to hopefully put the idea out of her head, so perhaps it was just a fleeting moment, one that could be forgotten. Then he remembered her blazing eyes and how she was really convinced that he loved her in return. He couldn’t make up his mind and decided to give it some more thought before bringing it up to his wife.

Life for Tim and Gwen Davis couldn’t have been better. Their daughter Shannon had grown into a fine young girl and was the spitting image of her mom (thankfully). Tim and Gwen had also been blessed with twins, a boy and girl who were now mobile toddlers keeping the parents quite busy with their curious antics. Tim felt like he was in a dream. He couldn’t imagine his life being any better.
